There was alarm in the Spain camp at Las Rozas when captain Sergio Busquets tested positive for the coronavirus. The rest of the squad gave a negative in tests but everyone is being monitored closely.
Cope radio reported on Monday that the players had all eaten together at a restaurant before Busquets tested positive.
The RFEF say that all the protocols established were followed and the group worked in a bubble, as is permitted by UEFA.
On Monday players took further PCR tests to try and find out if anyone else has caught the virus.
