Filippo Vito Di Pierro, the coach who was in charge of Eldense without having the correct qualificaions (his 'assistant' Fran Ruiz had is), has made some surprising quotes on the radio show 'El Partidazo' on Cadena COPE.

Di Pierro said that the Barça B players were responsible for the 12-0 his side suffered at the weekend which has led to allegations of match fixing.

"After the embarrassment of Saturday's result, I believe our 20 players are clean. I don't know anything about what they're talking about. This is just a bad dream," he said, now free after having been detained by the police initially.

"The Barcelona players did not respect the code of honour between teams. In fact, our players on the bench requested Barcelona to stop [scoring] and they [Barcelona players] would say: 'I'm sorry, we can't.'

"I don't know what they are talking about -- it's not part of who I am. I'm available to help the authorities in any way I can."
