Zinedine Zidane could not hide his huge disappointment after a 3-0 beating for Real Madrid by Barcelona in the Santiago Bernabeu Clasico on Saturday. "We're in a bad way, pissed off," the Frenchman admitted.

"We started very well, I think the first half was an equal game. In the second half we started well too but we made a mistake and afte the game became a lot trickier. It's a defeat which hurts, it's really hard for us to take, but it is what it is, it's football and we have to think that it was a very difficult game for us."

Zidane knows that he will be criticised for his selection and tactics in the coming days.

"I know tomorrow they will be cursing me but that's football and for me, it will not change. It's my decision and I take it with all my strength," he said, of the choice to play Mateo Kovacic over Isco.

"The league is not over although everyone thinks it is, I don't and I know the coach of the other team doesn't either."
