Every day there are more and more rumours around Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid reconstruction. Now France Football say that the French coach is insisting on Liverpool forward Sadio Mane moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Zidane already wanted to sign the Senegalese striker before he left last season. It was Mane who scored against Madrid in the Champions League final as they beat Liverpool 3-1.

The African, 26, is Zidane's main option in attack, per France Football. They say that Madirid and Mane had reached an agreement but Zidane's departure stopped a deal before.

This season Mane, who signed in 2016 from Southampton for 41m euros, has scored 17 Premier League goals and hit two against Bayern Munich. He has 20 and 4 assists in all comps.
