Germany coach Joachim Low has let Toni Kroos return to Spain ahead of the game against Azerbaijan, as a precaution after the player's recent rib injury./
"We know how important Toni is and we can count on him when something is at stake," said Low. "What's important now is that the players are in form next year and that they go through this season without big physical problems."
Germany beat Northern Ireland 3-1 to qualify for the World Cup on Thursday night.
