Real Sociedad right-back Alvaro Odriozola is one of the players Real Madrid are eyeing up for next summer. The Basque full-back has been followed by the Spanish champions for a while and his recent progression has increased their interest.

A detail has now also come out which could facilitate a move to Madrid. According to El Confidencial, Odriozola's agent is Oscar Ribot, who Florentino Perez named the club's press chief in 2009 and is a personal friend of one of the Madrid's presdient's sons.

Ribot is now the CEO of the company Best of You, which represents various players and ex-oplayers, including Odriozola, Casemiro, Canales, Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso and Granero -- as well as basketball players like Felipe Reyes and Rudy Fernández.

Some suspect that Perez's son has a relationship with said company, where Miguel Pardeza works, who was Madrid's sporting director once upon a time.

It's evident that the connection would east Odriozola's move to Madrid. The La Real right-back renewed his contract last summer until 2022 and has a release clause of 40 million euros, which was more than payable in the current market.

He has started the season in impressive form for his club, earning a call up to the Spain team this month, when he won his first full international cap.
