Tottenham Hotspur head coach José Mourinho didn't want to speak about fresh speculation that Gareth Bale could make a sensational return to Spurs this month.
"Bale is a Real Madrid player and I won't talk about players of other teams," Mourinho said in his press conference ahead of the Europa League.

"That is not my job to have contacts with agents. I don't want to comment on that," added Mourinho when asked if he had spoken to Bale's super agent Jonathan Barnett.

"Even before that, I tried to sign him for Real Madrid, which was not possible to do during my time there but the president followed my instinct and my knowledge and the season I left he brought Gareth to the club. There's no secret to that. Even Gareth knows that but I'm not going to speak to him any more because he's a Real Madrid player."
