Real Madrid are sealing a deal for a second salary cut with their players and staff. Newspaper ABC revealed the board led by Florentino Perez will bring wages down by 10-15 per cent for the fist teams of the football and basketball sides, Madrid's B team and the directors.
They took a pay-cut in April already because of the economic impact of the coronavirus. Then it was agreed they would take a 10% cut, saving 39 million euros. If now it is 15%, it will rise to 58.5 million euros saved.
