Vinicius Jr. scored two and made one as Real Madrid beat Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 to get their Champions League campaign back on track.

Carlo Ancelotti's side were stunned by Sheriff last time out but eased past Shakhtar in Ukraine on Tuesday to make it six points from nine in this season's competition.

Serhiy Kryvtsov put through his own net just before halftime to give Madrid the lead before Vinicius took over after the break.

The Brazilian made it 2-0 to cap off a fine team move, with Luka Modric supplying the killer pass.

He then waltzed through the Shakhtar defence before adding his second goal and wrap up the win just minutes later.

The Vinicius masterclass then continued with an assist, as he set up compatriot Rodrygo Goes to score the fourth.

Karim Benzema completed the rout late on as Madrid prepared for Sunday's Clasico at Camp Nou against Barcelona in style.
