Ramos: I could say a lot of things about the Clasico referee but I won't

The Madrid captain managed to bite his tongue although suggested he was unhappy with Clos Gomez

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos not only spoke about his side's game against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, but also about the Clasico.

Ramos, who scored the equalising goal at Camp Nou, once again complained, albeit lightly, about referee Clos Gomez's performance in the draw with Barcelona.

Asked about Gomez's performance in the Clasico, Ramos indicated: "The referee at Camp Nou? I could say a lot of things after watching the game back a couple of times, but it wouldn't change anything. I'm going to keep out of it because I don't want to give headlines."

Sergio Ramos insisted that "they don't usually re-use referees (in Clasico). I have a lot of respect for the referees, they're people and they can make mistakes. I find it difficult to believe that they make mistakes [on purpose]. Continuing the stirring is not going to lead anywhere now.

The Real Madrid defender added that "the other dat (the Camp Nou draw) is not about boasting but about continuing to work hard because there's a long way to go."
