Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Eden Hazard from Chelsea on a five-year deal as they continue their summer spending spree.

Hazard joins Los Blancos for a reported fee of 100 million euros, with around 40 million more due in potential add-ons. He will be officially presented on June 13.

"Real Madrid C. F. and Chelsea FC have agreed on a deal for the player Eden Hazard," the Spanish side said in a statement on Friday night.

"The player will join the club for the next five seasons, until the 30th June 2024. Eden Hazard will be presented as a Real Madrid player on Thursday 13th June at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, after undergoing a medical with the club."

Hazard was signed by Chelsea for 35 million euros in 2012 and has helped the club win two Premier League titles during his time in England.

He joins a growing list of new players at Madrid this summer, with deals for Rodrygo (18 years old) Militao (21) already confirmed before Zinedine Zidane's return.

Since the Frenchman was re-appointed as coach, they have done deals for Jovic and now Hazard, with Lyon defender Mendy set to follow.
