Real Madrid just keep signing players. This time they've brought in left back Ferland Mendy from Olympique de Lyon. It's actually the French club who announced the deal first. Mendy will pen a six-year contract after Madrid agreed to pay €48m - plus €5m in variables - for him.
The defender will be presented to the fans next Wednesday at 13:00 (local time) at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mendy, who last Saturday turned 24, is a full international with France and joined Lyon in 2017 from Le Havre. This season he's played 44 matches and scored three goals.
