Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui spoke to Onda Cero show El transistor on Monday in an interview with José Ramón de la Morena.
The ex-Spain boss spoke about a number of issues, including Lionel Messi's comments that Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus weakens Madrid.
"I wouldn't doubt these Real Madrid players for a second," Lopetegui said when asked about the Barcelona player's remark.
Asked about who he thinks should win FIFA's The Best, which is between Ronaldo, Salah and Modric, he responded: "I would give it to our player, Modric, I'm clear about that."
Lopetegui was also asked about Ronaldo's exit, which preceded his appointment at the Bernabeu.

"I didn't speak to [Ronaldo]," he said. "It's a situation that when I arrived, he had shown a desire to leave and the club facilitated it. I respected it and the strategy was taken."
