Gareth Bale is in North London to seal his move back to Tottenham Hotspur. The Welsh forward left the club in 2013 to sign for Real Madrid but his return to the Premier League means his '11' shirt is now up for grabs. According to LaLiga's official website, that number will now belong to Marco Asensio.

It brings about a change for Asensio too, who originally wore the '28' shirt at Madrid. He had '25' at Espanyol and over the past few years switched to '20' after his first season with Real Madrid.

However, Asensio does tend to have the '11' shirt for Spain as well as when he played for the U21 side. The Spaniard's '20' will pass to Vinicius Junior.
