Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic has confirmed that he wants to leave the club this summer.
Kovacic, who is currently with the Croatia team at this summer's World Cup, revealed to Marca that he wants to move on in search of regular football.
"I love football and being on the pitch, I want the chance to start games at another team," the former Inter Milan midfielder said.
"I want to play more and the best thing for that is to leave Real Madrid."
Kovacic, 24, already has a number of offers but Madrid are not prepared to sell the player, who they consider an important part of their squad.
However, with offers from Italy and England, he may be able to talk Madrid into changing their stance.
