Jorge Mendes, Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, will have appear in court as a defendant in Cristiano Ronaldo’s tax evasion case. Mendes, as well as Cristiano’s legal and image rights advisors, Luis Correia and Carlos Osorio, must explain their involvement in the case, according to a report in El Mundo.
The news comes after Cristiano Ronaldo told the judge that Jorge Mendes was not involved and named his advisors as the people responsible for his finances. The judge now wants to know what his level of involvement was in the case, where Cristiano is accused of evading €14.7 million in tax.
