Edinson Cavani's future is still in the air. The Uruguayan seemed poised to move to Benfica from PSG but Gazzetta Dello Sport say his wage demands are too high for the Portuguese side. Now other clubs are interested, including Real Madrid.
The player's high demands have made Benfica unwilling to sign the 33 year old. Madrid, meanwhile, need to bring in a new forward or two given the problems they have had with Jovic and Mariano.
