Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus striker formerly of Real Madrid, will be called into court on Tuesday 22 at 10am, accused of tax fraud. His lawyers had asked for him to appear via video link but in the end he will appear in person.
The day before Ronaldo plays Chievo with Juventus in Serie A then he will take a private jet to Madrid.
Ronaldo's lawyers, per ABC, have asked for reinforced security, demanding the access to the court that Ronaldo will use has proper security to go with his high profile status.
