Cristiano Ronaldo angered by his critics at start of the season

The Real Madrid forward believes the criticism aimed at him is unfair and that he is playing well now

Sport EN

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo does not take criticism well. 21 days have passed since he came back from injury and he has already shown signs of irritation. You just need to see his reaction after being substituted by Zinedine Zidane against Las Palmas. Something is burning him inside, and as ABC revealed, it's nothing other than the fact that some dared to put an expiration date on his career and say publicly, after seeing his first matches of the season, that the Portuguese was finished.

Cristiano has had the fly buzzing round his ear since he returned to action on September 10. He is upset for the criticism received, especially for his first game. He feels like a victim and obviously has not been self-critical at all. He thinks his goals against Sporting Lisbon and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League show he is back to his usual self.

He doesn't like that the criticism doesn't take into account the fact he missed preseason and is a few weeks behind his team-mates. Cristiano is obsessed and needs to feed his enormous ego. Obsessed with goals, and intending to shut his critics up in Madrid's next game, against Eibar. He currently has one league goal and is aiming to change that.
