Marco Asensio enjoyed a very special game against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin. He netted two goals as his side beat Real Betis 5-3 in a tricky game, one of which was his team’s 6000th in la Liga.
Asensio’s second goal arrived after excellent work by Dani Carvajal on the right flank, roaming forward and crossing for the striker to fire home, putting Madrid 3-2 up.
That was Madrid’s 6000th goal in the Spanish top flight, putting Asensio in the history books.
