Pep Guardiola revealed in an interview with Gary Lineker for the BBC and anecdote that but the former Barcelona striker in an awkward position.

During part of the interview, the Manchester City coach told Lineker that, on more than one occasion, while he was a ball boy at Camp Nou, he'd asked the ex-England international for his shirt -- but was never given it.

"You know, during your time at Barcelona I was a ball boy. I gave you the balls when you were playing. Do you remember?" Guardiola said to Lineker.

"I always remember something... maybe it's not correct to say it... I always asked you for your shirt after the game and you never wanted to give it to me. Never. I will never forgive you."

Lineker was caught off guard by Guardiola's comments and said sorry. "Seriously? Now I feel a little bad for not giving it to you. In reality, at that time we didn't give shirts way. Now players always do, but then we had the same shirt for the whole season."

Laughing, Guardiola accepted Lineker's apology.
