Paul Pogba has a contract with Manchester United until 2022. Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed as much in a press conference on Friday ahead of the weekend's game against Newcastle.

"Paul is our player, he is gonna be here for another two years,” Solskjaer said. “Paul is focused on doing his best for us. In the next couple of years, I'm sure we'll get the best out of him."

Solskjaer's comments serve as confirmation that United have triggered in a clause in Pogba's contract that extends his contract beyond the end of the current campaign by an additional year.

Therefore, he will not be able to leave for free next summer. Real Madrid and Juventus had been linked with the France international and he said recently it would be a "dream" to play for Madrid.
