FC Barcelona are following the moves of Jordan Henderson, Liverpool's midfielder, closely. The England international will be free of his contract in June 2016 and for the Reds renewing it is a priority, as they see him as a key player and future captain.
The English press claim that Barcelona want Henderson, a player capable of creating goals and influencing play when in possession. He's also an athletic player and a hard worker.
He is 24 years old and this season is the player that has played the most for Liverpool in the league - 2,356 minutes. He has also impressed in the Europa League, though Liverpool are now eliminated.
He made his Premier League debut with Sunderland in 2008-09, after spending time on loan at Coventry.
