The Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that the injury suffered by Pedro Rodríguez in a collision with David Ospina in Chelsea’s friendly against Arsenal, which initially seemed to be a simple concussion, is more serious than thought.
According to Conte, Pedro has “multiple fractures” in his face. The forward spent the night in a Beijing hospital following the incident as a precaution and will now return to London for further medical evaluation.
