Bayern Munich's James Rodriguez ahs an offer to leave the club this month. The Colombian does not have the backing of his coach, Niko Kovac, and may be prepared to move in the current window -- at least until the end of the season to play more regularly.

Unai Emery's Arsenal are looking at him. The Premier League side want to move on Mesut Ozil and are thinking James could replace him. British newspaper the Daily Mail has been the first to reveal their interest in the Bayern playmaker.

The operation would be a loan until the end of the season. The Germans still owe Real Madrid around three million pounds for James and Arsenal could pay that payment. James would be a big signing for the Gunners as they compete for a top four and Champions League spot.

For now, it would be a six month loan. Then it would be a case of negotiating with Real Madrid, who Bayern must pay around five million euros if they want to sign him permanently when his two-year loan expires in the summer.
