Man City left Arsenal languishing ninth in the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win at the Emirates on Sunday.

Kevin de Bruyne struck twice in the first half and scored another as the visitors gave Arsenal coach Freddie Ljungberg a nightmare evening in London.

Despite the victory City are an appalling 14 points behind leaders Liverpool, who are walking their way to the title without challenge.

"We made an incredible result but the way we played against Manchester United was better in many, many things,” said City coach Pep Guardiola.

“I know we are judged on the result but I have a duty to judge the performance, not just the result."
