In Madrid they wanted to see Messi's celebration as a provocation towards their fans. Nothing could be further than the truth. I understood the desolation of Madrid's fans, the impotence they felt against the best footballer of all time. Messi has only provoked Madridistas with football and goals. And it was a bit of revindication too, on his side for his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo. Everything Messi did, his goals, his passes, his nutmegs, his dribbles, goal No 500... he did in the home of Ronaldo. And in this home he showed his shirt with his name and the No 10, so all the world knew who was No 1. This is how you win Ballon d'Ors, everything else is noise.
