Leipzig striker Timo Werner, who has been linked with Barcelona, is close to completing a move to Liverpool, according to Sky Sports.
Werner is set to be one of the hottest forwards on the market this summer but he is keen to join the European champions, where he will work with German coach Jurgen Klopp.
However, the same information says Liverpool must now make the next step. They have to study how to structure a deal for Werner, who has a 60 million euros release clause.
If the English club delay their move, other big teams could look to take advantage. Barça have also been linked with the German international, as have Juventus and Bayern Munich.
