Juventus have become involved in the conflict between FC Barcelona and Arthur Melo. The Brazilian midfielder refused to return to Spain after LaLiga had concluded and now Juventus want him to join up with them ahead of schedule.
According to Brazilian outlet 'UOL', Juve want Arthur to join up for preseason on the 24th August rather than wait until September as originally agreed.
Arthur, along with his representatives, are trying to convince Barça to let him go earlier than planned in order to bring an end to this ugly situation. Juventus and Barça actually have a good working relationship but it remains unclear whether a player under investigation for breaching club rules would be listened to.

That internal investigation, after Arthur went AWOL, remains ongoing. He has been kept away from the quad and is waiting to hear the findings of the investigation. It seems unlikely anything will change until a conclusion has been reached.
