Thiago Alcántara will become a Liverpool player in the coming hours. It's been one of the soap operas of the summer but Jurgen Klopp's side have eventually been able to push the deal through. The German's insistence was key to the operation's success.
With a contract until June 2021, Thiago will come at a cut-price - around 30 million euros, cheap for a player of his talent. Thiago heads to Anfield having just won the Champions League with Hansi Flick's side.
