The relationship between Neymar and Edinson Cavani continues to deteriorate. At least, that's what can be read from the fact the Brazilian has unfollowed his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate on social media, notable Twitter and Instagram.

The fight of egos between the two forward began to unravel this weekend, during PSG's 2-0 win over Lyon in Ligue 1.

During the game, television cameras captured Neymar and Cavani disputing who should take a free-kick. In the footage, Dani Alves takes the ball from the Uruguayan and delivers it to Neymar, a sign that he's allied with his fellow countryman.

And the same image is replicated later in the game when PSG have a penalty. This time, Cavani didn't tolerate Neymar's complaints and took the penalty -- but missed it.

In addition, another sign of the poor relationship between the players is that after the game Neymar published a photograph with Kylian Mbappe, but not with Cavani, which had been a custom until now.
