According to L’Équipe, the current 'suspension' Thierry Henry is under at Monaco will become permanent and the club has already lined up his replacement: Leonardo Jardim - again.
On Thursday night the French club confirmed that Henry had been suspended from his role after just three months in charge. Monaco are 19th in Ligue 1 and three points away from safety.
It appears that an agreement was reached in a meeting on Thursday between Monaco's vice president, Vadim Vasilyev, Nicolas Holveck (general director), Leonardo Jardim and his agent Jorge Mendes.
Jardim and Vasilyev signed off a two and a half year deal for the coach to return to the club.
The objective for this season is clearly to avoid relegation. Three points isn't a huge gap to make up with half a season to go but confidence is clearly low and Henry was unable to turn it around.
