Valencia were held to 1-1 draw by Osasuna down on Thursday at Mestalla. Valencia were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Osasuna secured a point against Real Madrid in their previous match. As it stands, Valencia are in 14th place, with 20 points from 19 matches, while Osasuna sit in 19th, with 16 points from 19.

Osasuna started the first half well, following Jonathan Calleri opening the scoring just before half-time to see out the first half 1-0.

Valencia took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Unai Garcia in the 69th minute, and the game ended 1-1.

For Valencia Kevin Gameiro, Yunus Musah and Goncalo Guedes came on for Kang In Lee, Uros Racic and Denis Cheryshev, while Osasuna brought on Manuel Sanchez De La Pena, Inigo Perez, Enrique Barja and Oier to replace Ruben Garcia, Roberto Torres, Javier Martinez Calvo and Jon Moncayola.

There were bookings for Daniel Wass from Valencia and Nacho Vidal, Juan Cruz and Manuel Sanchez De La Pena for Osasuna.

 

Valencia will next travel to Atlético Madrid, while Osasuna will face Granada at home.
