The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, wanted to make it clear that the league will return "when the health authorities consider is possible" following further reports of a possible June 12 start date.
Tebas has mentioned that date before but it's dependent on the whole of Spain moving into Phase 2 of the government's deconfinement measures. Barcelona and Madrid, for example, are still in Phase 0.
On Thursday, COPE reported a possible June 12 return with Seville and Real Betis playing on the Friday. Later, the same radio station suggested June 19 would be the restart date.
What seems clear is that LaLiga will return on a Friday with the Seville derby.
