Celta Vigo striker Santi Mina has been sentenced to four years in prison and fined 50,000 euros after being found guilty of sexual abuse by an Almeria court.
The striker, who committed the crime while at Valencia in 2017, was acquitted of sexual assault and his prior team-mate David Goldar was acquitted of all charges of being an accomplice.
Mina was charged in 2019 with the crime which has taken three years to get to trial, during which he has been playing for Celta.
