Sevilla have completed the signing of Nolito from Manchester City on a three-year deal, with the Spain forward arriving in Spain on Sunday to undergo a medical and sign his contract.

The former Celta Vigo man, who will turn 31 in October, will link up with his former coach, Eduardo Berizzo, at the Sanchez Pizjuan and is a replacement for Víctor Machín 'Vitolo', who left the club last week for Atletico Madrid via Las Palmas.

Nolito will cost Sevilla eight million euros. City paid 14 million euros to Celta for him last summer but after a bright start in England he disappeared in the second half of the season and had already confirmed a desire to return to Spain.

Formed at his local team Atlético Sanluqueño, Nolito's varied career has also taken in Écija Balompié, Barcelona B, Benfica and Granada.

It was at Celta under Berizzo where he found his best form, though, earning him caps with Spain and seeing City and Barça both try and sign him last year.

Pep Guardiola's City won the battle but it didn't quite work out for Nolito in the Premier League and he joins Sevilla looking to kick start his career.
