Munir scores as Alaves move closer towards safety

Alaves eased any lingering fears they may have had over relegation with a 2-0 win over Getafe on Saturday, with Barcelona striker Munir on target. 

Munir scored the second goal in the 75th minute after Victor Laguardia had opened the scoring in the early stages of the second half. 

Antunes missed a late penalty for Getafe as Alaves saw out the win and picked up three important points. 

Abelardo's side now have 35 points in total, 12 more than Deportivo La Courna, who are in the third and final relegation place, with just seven games to be played. 

Munir, who is on loan at the Basque club, now has 11 goals in all competitions this season, with seven coming La Liga.
