Real Madrid suffered an away defeat against Levante at Ciudad de Valencia on Saturday. Levante arrived with the intention of regaining victory after losing 2-1 against Villarreal while Real Madrid scored a 2 draw against Celta, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Levante is 10th in the LaLiga, with 32 points from 25 matches, while Real Madrid sits at 2nd with 53 points after playing a total of 25 matches.

Both sides were struggling to produce anything in the first part and the teams went to the dressing room locked in a 0-0.

Levante took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Jose Luis Morales 79 minutes in the game, finalising the game with a 1-0.

At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Levante Gonzalo Melero, Pablo Martinez and Sergio Leon came on for Roger Marti, Jose Luis Morales and Borja Mayoral, while Madrid substituted Vinicius Junior, Lucas Vazquez and Federico Valverde with Eden Hazard, Isco and Luka Modric.

The referee booked Roger Marti from Levante, while for Real Madrid Sergio Ramos and Casemiro saw a yellow card as well.
