Javier Tebas says he hopes LaLiga will be able to restart on June 11, a Thursday night, with the Seville derby between Real Betis and Sevilla.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez confirmed over the weekend that football has permission to restart in the country the week beginning June 8.
Tebas had previously targetted June 12 as a prospective start date but revealed on Movistar on Sunday that he would now like the competition to resume one day earlier.

The eagerly anticipated Seville derby will be the first game, with kickoff lined up for 10pm on June 11. Barcelona are due to play Mallorca in the first round of fixtures back after the coronavirus stoppage.
