Javier Clemente has launched a strong defence of Ángel María Villar, the President of the Spanish Royal Football Federation (RFEF) who was arrested for alleged personal enrichment through federation funds.
“I didn’t want to say anything on the subject of Villar, his son and Padron before hearing what is said. After the appearance before the judge today and without knowing what the decision will be I have to say they are honest and above all FRIENDS” Clemente wrote on Twitter.
El Fiscal ha solicitado prisión incondicional sin fianza para el presidente de la FEF, aunque hasta esta tarde no se conocerá la decisión del juez.
