Negotiations between Real Betis and Claudio Bravo are on the right track and an agreement could be imminent. According to 'Alfinaldelapalmera', free agent Bravo is someone Manuel Pellegrini has personally asked for. The new Betis manager sees his fellow compatriot's experience as invaluable.
Speaking to 'Estadio Deportivo' a few days ago, Bravo said: "Betis is a club with a great history and a lot of fans. It's a club any player would be interested in and more so now they've got a fantastic coach like Pellegrini."
The 37-year-old's contract expired at the end of June and has vast experience in LaLiga. Despite this, Bravo's move to any future club won't be announced until after Manchester City's participation in the Champions League has ended.
