Atletico Madrid legend Fernando Torres will reveal his new club for next season within the next two weeks.
That's what his father, Jose Torres, has said in comment during an event on Monday, adding that his son will "be happy" at his new club.
Even though he doesn't know exactly where that club will be: "I am sure it won't be in Europe, it will be a long way away. He still doesn't know, but he will say soon, in the next two weeks for sure."
Jose said his only desire is that his son is happy wherever he goes, without expressing a preference for him to move to either Japan or the United States.
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo didn't want to give any clues on Torres' future, either, and only highlighted his importance to the Madrid-based club.
At the same event, Cerezo said: "I've been lucky enough that, during his stay here I was vice president and then president, and we have had a fantastic relationship."
