Eibar were held to 1-1 draw by Huesca down on Saturday at Ipurua Municipal Stadium. Eibar arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 1-0 to Elche while Huesca were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-2 victory against Granada. As it stands, Eibar are in 16th place on the table and has 22 points while Huesca sit in 20th with 20 points after 25 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Huesca took the initiative in the second half, beginning with Sandro Ramirez opening the scoring, 81 minutes in. However, they didn't maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Pape Diop in the 83rd minute brought Eibar level. The game ended a 1-1 draw.

For Eibar Anaitz Arbilla, Yoshinori Muto, Rafa Soares, Kevin Rodrigues and Aleix Garcia came on for Pedro Bigas, Sergi Enrich, Jose Angel, Pedro Leon and Bryan Salvatierra, while Huesca brought on Mikel Rico, Sandro Ramirez, Pedro Lopez and Sergio Gomez to replace Idrissa Doumbia, Dani Escriche, Pablo Maffeo and Rafa Mir.

There were bookings for Jose Angel and Pedro Leon from Eibar and Javi Galan and Pablo Maffeo for Huesca.

 

Eibar will next play Cádiz away, with Huesca facing Celta Vigo at home.
