Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen is awake and stable in hospital. The Inter Milan player spoke to his team-mates and told them to continue the game against Finland in Euro 2020, according to German media.
Eriksen was taken to a Copenhagen hospital after collapsing during the clash with Finland in the Danish capital.
UEFA said he has “stabilised” in a Tweet and later news came through that he wanted the team to finish the game, suspended for nearly two hours after he collapsed shortly before half-time.
The players finished the four minutes remaining of the first half, had a five minute break for half-time and then restarted the second half.
