Barca B will face UCAM Murcia in the first knock-out play-off clash to try and get promoted to La Liga Smartbank.
Garcia Pimienta’s side will face Murcia at the Estadio Municipal Vicente Sanz next Sunday. It’s a one-off clash and can go penalties if the teams are drawing at the end of extra time. Both sides finished second, so that is an option. In matches between teams that finished first and second, there will be no penalties.
Barca B are flying high on morale. They have won 26 of the last 33 points available, only two draws in 11 games. All these good results have allowed them to finish second behind UD Ibiza.
Barca could have faced Celta B, Athletic B, San Sebastian de los Reyes, Zamora, Amorebieta, Algeciras and Real Madrid Castilla.
