For a decade Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have competed for football's biggest individual honours as well as fighting on all fronts with their respective teams. It's generated a neverending debate on who is the best, a debate which has led to hours of discussions and arguments.
The reality is that the statistics, numbers and honours achieved by both players will be matched by few others in the history of the game. The numbers are used when it comes to choosing one or the other, with former Premier League stars Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard the latest to opt for Messi.
Now, thanks to the Twitter account @Reydel Futbol_10 we know which footballers have publically sided for either Messi or Ronaldo. And it's basically an extensive list of players backing the Barcelona star. It seems the duo's peers are clear on the matter. Will the debate remain alive?
