Real Madrid spokesman Emilio Butragueno expressed his dismay at what happened at the Champions League draw.
Los Blancos were picked out to face Benfica but the draw was voided after there were mistakes made elsewhere by UEFA.
Then Madrid ended up being picked to face Paris Saint-Germain.
“(It was) surprising and lamentable. It is very difficult to understand what has happened today,” said Butragueno. “We will take on this tie with hope. Conscious of what this competition means for the club and what facing this opponent means, but with the confidence of a team that’s going to play two great games.”
