Liverpool beat Roma 5-2 on Tuesday night in the Champions League semi-final first leg. Salah, Firmino and Mane, the Reds' offensive trident, were all heavily involved.

Salah and Firmino scored two each and Mane got one, helping them make history by equalling the record set by any other set of three forwards in one edition of the tournament. They have 28, more than the 27 that Messi, Neymar and Suarez got for Barcelona in 2015, and are equal with the 28 that Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema got for Real Madrid in 2014.

Salah and Firmino are the second two players from the same side to score 10 goals each in a trophy, after Messi and Neymar did the same in 2015.
