Liverpool won 3-1 at Bayern Munich on Wednesday to become the fourth Premier League side to book their place in the last eight of the Champions League.

Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead in Munich after a goalless first leg at Anfield to set Jurgen Klopp's men on their way to the quarterfinal.

Robert Lewandowski levelled things up for the home side on the night, but they still trailed by away goals on aggregate.

The game opened up after the break and that ended up benefitting last year's finalists.

Defender Virgil van Dijk headed Liverpool back in front and the in-form Mane wrapped up the win to complete a full set of English sides in the next round.

Liverpool join Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham, while Germany's Bundesliga has been left without any representatives in the competition.
