Cristiano Ronaldo did not go to Milan for The Best awards gala. Lionel Messi won the player of the year award. Ronaldo, who came second, stayed at home.
He posted a picture on Instagram and added a caption: "Patience and persistence are two characteristics that differentiate the professional from the amateur. Everything that is today great started small. One can't do everything, but do everything you can to make your dreams come true. Try to keep in mind that after the night always comes the dawn."
